The SMART LIVING CLB project is taking shape right in Letňany, as the project name suggests. Letňany is becoming ever more sought-after as a place to live. This is demonstrated by statistics on the sale of new apartments in Prague, where Prague 9 and Letňany in particular lead the pack amongst city districts.
SMART LIVING CLB builds on the Barevné Letňany apartment project, which was completed just less than four years ago. From the east, the complex links to the surrounding villas and low-rise apartment buildings. From the north, it neighbours a sports centre and on the west it neighbours concrete apartment blocks. Within the general neighbourhood, it is a short walk to the shopping centre or to Prague 18 council offices.
One of the principal attractions of the CLB project is undoubtedly the great amenities in the direct surroundings. You can find in the immediate neighbourhood:
Letňany is also an excellent place for doing all your shopping. Letňany Shopping Centre is a key feature here, but you can also shop in the Globus hypermarket or the closer Penny Market. If you aren’t a great fan of large stores, you can find many small shops and stores in Letňany.
In the medical field, there are also a whole spectrum of surgeries and outpatient services from GPs and specialist doctors for children and adults. Most doctors are located in the medical facility on Frýdecká street.
Lege Artis, spol. s r.o. doctor’s consortium, Frýdecká 439 – General Practice, psychiatry, oral medicine and gynaecology surgeries. Other medical facilities. It is also just a few dozen metres from 2BarevnéLetňany to the nearest pharmacy.
The city district’s administrative centre is the local council building, which also contains the post office and state and city police. All these institutions are within easy reach of the CLB apartment building.
Třinecká public bus stop is located right next to the project. A little further are the busy stops of Boletická and Tupolevova, from where you can get to Letňany C-line metro station in 4 minutes. You can thus easily get to the centre of Prague in under half an hour.
Letňany is linked directly via Kbelská street to the city ringroad, and to the north the D8 motorway begins. There is a P+R car park at Letňany metro station. Free transport is available to Tesco shopping centre.
Also within walking distance is Letňany forest park which offers extensive sports use. Over 36 hectares it includes a relaxation zone with inline skating and running paths, and in future a downhill ski slope is planned.
